Two sleepers
Wake up
To find
Their world
In ashes

The first,
Surveying the earth,
Lays down
And waits to die

The second,
Surveying the sky,
Finds beauty
In the ashes,
And weeping,
Finds beauty
In the tears

Both now
Beneath the skin,
There are only enough
Twinkies
For one
